Margin

Margin

Photos by Shell Myers

These photos are an exploration of the unknown aspects of myself, or those margins often left smoothed over, demarcated by personal boundaries, binaries and societal limitations. This space is both isolating and ethereal, left barren of other people’s influence. As an agender person, I have found the margin to be a sort of individual refuge. At the same time, this is a reality that does not exist outside of my own construction. These images present an equally subjective reality, wherein these landscapes do not exist outside of these images.
